The summer holidays are now over, the hustling and bustling of returning to the normalcy of life

remains a challenge….we all need the month of September to 'regroup' ourselves.

We play, we dance, we fall in love, protecting how things could have been 

treasuring how things are……

WE WENT ON A JOURNEY

We went on a journey to 'Stush In The Bush' in the hills of St. Ann.

A lovely couple; Lisa and Christopher Binns live in 'The Bush' where

they grow herbs, vegetable, scotch bonnet peppers and lots of surprises.

We went for lunch, and our choice was Pizza or a full Vegetarian Meal!

Whilst en route, although we were aware of the drive, I was grateful to be driving 

an  'SUV/4wheel drive' vehicle

Lisa makes an array of sauces that we sampled on fresh Arugula
Salad, homemade Breadfruit chips and the base for the
'make yourself' pizza; My favourite is the bread…Lisa made an
amazing Olive bread, fresh out of the oven…

Guests at Hidden Bay Jamaica, hopefully, will enjoy this excursion into the rural areas of St. Ann,

There is a natural meditation flow that takes place while watching the waves

reaching for the sand, taking the tiny grains back to sea

after its spin in the crest of the waves.

Hidden Bay is our vacation home where our children, spouses and 

grandchildren come together under one roof….we are so Blessed!

These precious times, we try to use wisely;

I sit on our beach watching the little gifts of nature

occupying the thoughts of our grandchildren's young minds.

Only to realize…the importance of a break from your everyday routine of life!

My morning begins with a cup of freshly brewed 'Jamaican Blue Mountain' coffee.

Caroline, who is well known to a lot of villas along the Noth Coast, 

arrives at Hidden Bay to do our massage!

To the guests of Hidden Bay we strongly recommend a spa day. Caroline

is amazing, not only as a masseuse, but as a person. 'Seaweed Wraps';

'Hot Rocks' …these are just a few of our guests choices!

Some persons like their massage in an Air Conditioned Room;

Some like being outdoors and close to the sea;

I welcome your comments…I myself, like the cool AC room and

the soothing smell of the natural scented candle;

others, like the sea breeze and the soothing whitenoise

of the waves lapping on the rocks.

Whichever it may be…...

The Birth of Hidden Bay

Once upon a time there sat perched upon a bluff a piece of land-

the fence was an old thicket bush, commonly used, of yesteryear.

The gate, a mere 4' high, bent and rusty had a cardboard sign 'For Sale'

The Story Begins......

Our greatest gift is freedom of choice.

We purchased our dream! 

the vast expanse of the Caribbean Waters,

the beach, the nooks, the 'ole sea grape trees.

Today we relax on our 'stonewall' bench enjoying the sunrise,

the sunset, the peaceful tranquility - what's missing? a river! (lol)

Our grandchildren love to play in the sand, driving their dumptrucks

into the sea - pausing briefly to watch the soldier crab meandering through the 

little crevices in the rocks on its daily adventure

Visiting our island is quite the unique experience. We are internationally

known for our hospitality - we are so charming we capture the

hearts of many cultures. We are particularly known for our 'fine cuisine'

and Hidden Bay is no exception!

One of our most popular dishes is Boneless Curry Goat Ravioli

Perhaps I should fill you in on a little background ...

Curry Goat is a very popular dish in Jamaica.

It is cooked 'down' with our delightful scotch bonnet

pepper giving its distint flavour.

Although popular, it's very difficult to find

a 'good' curry goat!

served in elegance style

This has been a most popular dish at Hidden Bay Jamaica
as well as a most pleasant surprise to our guests.
